Neutrogena Co-Founder, Christian Bardin, joins elements™ Board of Directors
Miami Beach, FL – 12/22/08 – elements for women, the popular Miami-based fitness brand, has announced Neutrogena international president Christian Bardin as the newest addition to their Board of Advisors.
One of the founders of Neutrogena, Christian Bardin is an influential international marketer and beauty industry spokesperson. This addition coincides with elements’ launch of the highly anticipated Oceånica product lines.
Christian Bardin’s long and distinguished career dates from the 1970s when his revolutionary pricing and management strategies for Laboratoire UCB – Paris transformed the then-struggling company. In the 1980s he was responsible for the worldwide growth of the brand name of Neutrogena; generating over $100M in sales (nearly half of the company revenue) and helping Neutrogena obtain a $1B price tag when purchased by Johnson & Johnson in 1994. Since that time, he has been displaying his entrepreneurial prowess; finding and growing new brands – such as Nature’s Tears, Cleartone Acne System, and more. Bardin is a sought after consultant and speaker on personal care marketing.
“Christian brings a lifetime of contacts, relationships, and knowledge to our team, and will be a tremendous asset - we should be honored to have him on board,” commented elements brand Chairman Christopher Palumbo. “In a time where many businesses are cutting back on new projects, elements is moving ahead with new partnerships, record growth and new programs to really solidify our brand as the industry leader in fitness and lifestyle,”.
